ABSTRACT
The American Association of University Professors is a national organization of university faculty with chapters among faculty at many American colleges and universities. A chapter resided on the Indiana University-Indianapolis campus, and continued as the IUPUI chapter after the creation of IUPUI in 1969.
Overview
The University Archives at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) was created in April, 1975 by Vice President and Chancellor Glenn W. Irwin, Jr. to serve as the official repository for University records that have long-term historical, administrative, legal, and/or fiscal value. It accessions such records by authority of the University's administration, preserves them for future use, and organizes them for controlled access.
