Who May Use the Library?

In accordance with the University Library mission, the IUPUI University Library is open to the students, faculty, and staff of IUPUI and associated communities. The Library supports this same population throughout the Indiana University system, as well as residents of the Indianapolis area, and the State of Indiana. Privileges will vary according to the status of the user.

All patrons must present a valid University ID or IU Libraries Borrowers Card in order to check out materials from University Library. If you forget your University ID / Library card and have a current picture ID we can look your account up for $1.00.

The IUPUI JagTag and the IUPUI University Library Borrowers Card are valid in all Indiana University system libraries; however the associated privileges will vary from library to library.
